Team Placing for “Core League”: In the top two levels, the top 2 riders scores of each single team will determine the team score. In all other levels, the top 3 riders scores in a single team will determine the team score.

Team Placing for “Additional Disciplines”: The top 2 riders of each team in all levels will determine the team score.

School Placing across all disciplines will be calculated by using the Individual scoring system as per clause 12 of the Rules and Regulations.

OVERALL Horse/Rider combo Victor Ludorum
(Most versatile horse rider combo over all nationals excluding Endurance). Seeking the most versatile combination, the 6 highest scores of each horse/rider combination are taken to calculate the Victor Ludorum.  Should there be an equality of points, most classes ridden in the highest level will be the tie breaker. All placings across all disciplines will carry the same weight as for qualifiers. The aim is that a combination cannot win the trophy repeatedly riding the same horse in the same classes and levels. If a rider doesn’t move up a level they cannot be eligible to win for a 2nd time in the same levels. Final calculations will take into consideration if a combination competes at the highest level only of a particular discipline. The council decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Top Matric Horse-Rider combo and Runner-Up
Points are calculated exactly the same as for the Victor Ludorum, except that only Riders in Grade 12 competing at Nationals will be eligible.
